SAPPHIRE NOW Connects to SAP World Tour Events in Four European CitiesSAP will host its annual conference, SAPPHIRE NOW, in Orlando, Florida, from May 15-18, 2011. Building on a record 2010 attendance of 50,000 customers, partners and employees on-site and online, SAP will connect this year’s conference to four regional events in Europe. SAP Previews Next Wave of On-Demand Solutions at CeBITSAP is introducing a new class of on-demand software solutions that include a packaged integration into SAP Business Suite while applying mobile and social networking technology to better support the way people work today anytime, anywhere. With SAP Business ByDesign as the platform on which this new line of offerings is built, these solutions will have the advantage of in-memory technology and on-demand deployment as well as support for mobile devices. The SAP Sales OnDemand solution is the first of these new applications and will be previewed at CeBIT 2011.

Solutions from SAP and Partners Offer Flexibility, Transparency and Mobile Access for SMEsSAP and its partners will present a broad spectrum of business solutions for small and midsize enterprises (SMEs) at CeBIT 2011. This year, Booth A18 in Hall 5 will prominently feature SAP Business ByDesign, the integrated on-demand solution that offers user-focused innovations such as support for mobile devices, real-time reports and analysis, and customizable user interfaces. Turkish Tech Institute Becomes 1,000th Member of SAP University Alliances; Global Education Program Expands to the Adriatic RegionSAP today welcomed the 1,000th member to the SAP University Alliances program and announced the expansion of the program into the Adriatic region. Following a signing ceremony held during CeBIT 2011, the Middle East Technical University (METU) joins SAP University Alliances as the 1,000th member university. What I learned at SAP Influencer Summit: Social Media can work!Since 2001 SAP has brought together its top influencers in a small intimate setting to share, and receive input on, its product strategy and direction. Last December’s event marked a major change in the ‘social’ coverage of the event where upwards of 50 SAP colleagues participated in leveraging social media to extend the reach of the event beyond the selected few that were invited to participate.
