China SAPPHIRE NOW + SAP TechEd Beijing Wrap Up

On November 15, SAP opened China SAPPHIRE NOW + SAP TechEd Beijing, the largest IT event in China. More than 50,000 people participated in the event, including a two-day in-person total of 15,000 attendees. SAP to Spend US$2 Billion in China

BEIJING — SAP today announced multi-year spending plans of more than US$2 billion through 2015 to grow its business in China. The company intends to deepen its investment in this key global market in order to further underscore its long-term strategic commitment to the world’s second-largest economy.

SAP Combines SAPPHIRE NOW and SAP TechEd 2011 for the Business and Technology Event of the Year

For the first time in the company’s history, SAP is bringing together its two most important conferences: SAPPHIRE NOW, the premier customer conference, and SAP TechEd, the company’s largest technical and ecosystem education event series.
